McDonalds Corners and Elphin are hamlets along the strand of highway known as the McDonalds Corners Road. On the map, it's #12. If you're coming to Elphin or McDonalds Corners, why not take the 4 kilometre run to Snow Road Station and visit Adventure Agent to see the area through the intimate connection made by a kayak trip? The Simple Directions
Travel west on Road 12 from McDONALDS CORNERS (home of MERA), to ELPHIN,
and turn right onto the Elphin-Maberly Rd. for about 4 km.
Watch for the big "Land O' Lakes Tourist Region" sign, and just past that,
You will make a very sharp left turn onto a gravel road.
CAUTION: This is at a corner, and traffic coming from the other direction may be moving very fast, and cannot see well. Your actual crossing of the road should be swift, to avoid collision.
Proceed across the bridge,
to the second driveway on your right, #1067, and
park in the lower parking area on the left.

an easy pace of excellent
paddling instruction, mainly sea kayaking, short eco tours, guided trips, shadow/escort; shuttle, and more. Adventure Agent fast-tracks skills development.
Take some lessions to learn the foundation skills right up to the eskimo roll. Bring your bicycle and try out the local cycle routes, which are not part of the County Trails, but on less travelled roads and on rail-beds. Seniors are welcome. Advance booking advised. We look forward to meeting you.
