Based in Snow Road Station, Ontario, we are a convenient, scenic drive from Westport, along rolling, winding, and excellent roads. A home based business, we operate out of a log house on an island in the middle of the Mississippi River, on the McLaren Depot Snye.

The main branch, here at the island, has a rapid of about 800 metres, and can be a class iv in the spring. We're at the interface of Lanark Highlands, Madawaska Highlands, North Frontenac and the Land o' Lakes, a magnificent area of hills, rivers, lakes and old growth forests.

Wesport, Kingston, Belleville, Gananoque and Ottawa kayak or canoe enthusiasts refer to this area as "God's Country ". Well, God certainly DID bless this Land O' Lakes area, with the Missisisippi, Salmon and Clyde rivers, and some 5000 lakes. They recognize this as the accessible wilderness, because of its proximity, and excellent paved roads.

Wesptort offers great motor cruising, alright, but the best way to get to know this land is by canoe or kayak. Because of your pace and closeness to the environment, it's a pleasant break from the drone of engines and locks.
